Registered Nurse (Spinal Cord Injury Inpatient Assistant Nurse Manager)
The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) of the Inpatient Spinal Cord Injury and Disorders Unit is a registered nurse who demonstrates management and leadership skills. The ANM is accountable to the Nurse Manager (NM) and is responsible for delegated management and staff nurse functions. The ANM assists in the coordination and provision of quality care to veteran patients. Basic Requirements: English Language Proficiency. In accordance with 38 U.S.C. 7403(f), no person shall serve in direct patient care positions unless they are proficient in basic written and spoken English.
