The Gastroenterology Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing and/or supervising direct patient care. Must assess, plan, implement and evaluate care based on age specific components, while assuming responsibility for the coordination and continuum of care focusing on patient education, self-management, and customer satisfaction.
