Washington, DC Metro Market:

Dominion Hospital has provided quality healthcare services for close to 50 years! Our 116-bed hospital is one of the region's leading mental healthcare facilities in Northern Virginia. Our convenient location in suburban Falls Church, VA, offers a full range of treatment options with a distinctive focus on crisis intervention and stabilization through our inpatient, partial hospitalization programs (PHP), and intensive outpatient (IOP). Our inpatient programs are comprised of five distinct units. These units include Child, Adolescent, Adult, Eating Disorders, and Complex Trauma and we maintain complementary PHPs and IOPs to match. We maintain an excellent outpatient referral network. Our patients receive the best quality care through specialized services in safe, healthy, confidential, and trauma-informed environments.

Nashville, TN Metro Market:

TriStar Skyline Madison is a mental health facility. We provide behavioral health services to the greater Nashville area. Our psychiatrists, therapists, and nurses are dedicated to improving the lives of our patients. The 120 bed facility offers comprehensive treatment programs. These are designed for personalized care. They offer a variety of options including inpatient, partial hospitalization and outpatient care. Our behavioral health navigator works with patients and their loved ones to find the right plan.

Pinewood Springs is a joint venture mental health and wellness hospital operated by HCA Healthcare’s Tristar Health and Maury Regional Medical Center located in Southern Tennessee serving the Northern Alabama and south Tennessee communities and surrounding areas . The 60 bed hospital serves the inpatient mental health needs of acute adult patients. A broad range of inpatient and outpatient services are offered to treat individuals with mood, thought, and co–occurring disorders within a supportive and therapeutic environment.

Chattanooga TN Market:

Parkridge Valley, a two-campus behavioral health program and has served the Chattanooga area for over 40 years, providing expertise in treating a broad range of mental health and chemical dependency issues for all ages.

The Parkridge Valley Adult Campus is a 60 bed facility focused on treatment of psychiatric and addiction issues in adults. Services include inpatient, outpatient programs and partial hospitalization programs for mental health and/or substance abuse.

The Parkridge Child & Adolescent Campus is 127 bed facility that provides service for children and teens. Our services include short-term hospitalization for children and adolescents who require acute, structured short-term hospitalizations, and a residential program for children who are having emotional or behavioral problems and are not successful in their current environment of school or home, or for teens who have a failed history of acute inpatient hospitalization and outpatient therapy. Valley Academy, accredited by the Tennessee Department of Education, serves both regular education and special education students for our residential patients

Dallas, TX Metro Market:

The goal of Medical City Green Oaks Hospital has been to become the premier psychiatric treatment facility in North Texas since 1983. We provide mental health and chemical dependency (substance use) treatments. We offer psychiatric emergency services (PES), inpatient, and outpatient treatments. Charleston, SC Market:

Live Oak Mental Health and Wellness Center, is a part of Trident Health. We give inpatient stabilization treatment to patients who seek treatment for acute psychiatric symptoms which cannot be addressed on an outpatient basis. Common disorders of patients treated in this program include but are not limited to: major depressive disorder, schizoaffective disorder, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, adjustment disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, impulse control disorder and a variety of co-morbid personality disorders. Our patient population is both adult and adolescent. We offer 24 hour availability of a full range of services. We have the capability to institute rapid lifesaving interventions. Our physician availability is 24 hours a day to institute needed modification to the treatment plan. Psychiatrist involved in the direction and management of the treatment program. Round the clock skilled nursing care implementing the treatment plan and providing monitoring and assessment of the patient’s condition and response to treatment.

Job Summary and Qualifications

• You will oversee and direct the care of psychiatric patients within your assigned unit
• You will be the primary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated care for your patients.
• You will oversee and direct the care of assisting personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients.
• You will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• You will demonstrate clinical knowledge of psychiatric nursing and maintains highest quality of comprehensive patient care.
• You will display effective communication skills and maintains therapeutic relationships with patients, families, physicians and staff.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Nurse
• Passion for psychiatric nursing
