This is an Open & Continuous Announcement & will remain open until 9/30/2021 to fill current & future Long Term Care, Registered Nurse vacancies for various shifts at the Montrose and Castle Point Campuses. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis. The initial cut-off date for referral of eligible applicants will be February 3rd, 2021. After the initial cut off applicants will be referred as additional vacancies occur on an as-needed basis. The Registered Nurse provides a full range of nursing care to patients/residents with complex care needs utilizing the nursing process with a resident/patient centered care model within patient care settings. Performs initial assessments and re-assessments of conditions and responses to treatment as well as any other clinical findings. Assess residents/patients learning needs; develops and implements plans to meet patients needs; educates residents/patients and families in self-care and treatment measures. Promotes continuity of care through developing an individualized interdisciplinary plan of care in collaboration with the resident/patient, family and health care team. Administers prescribed therapies using appropriate judgment. Accurately documents in patients medical records findings, assessments, and care provided. Administers medications and treatments in accordance with established procedures and policies. Initial application cut off date will be February 3rd, 2021. Remaining application cut off dates will be determined as vacancies occur.
