Provides clinical leadership and manages the day to day operations of long-term care neighborhoods by organizing assignments, planning and directing nursing staff, monitoring and assessing resident needs, and working with other disciplines including physicians, clinicians, and families to provide optimal resident outcomes. Oversees and manages clinical staff, within established nursing policies, procedures, and ensures clinical competencies. Provides mentoring and coaching of staff and education in skills to meet resident needs. Provides direct resident care and engages residents and families as part of ensuring a comprehensive assessment, development and implementation of the resident care plan.
Experience: •3-5 years of previous leadership experience with geriatric population preferred. Candidate must possess excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills and ability to prioritize and problem solve. Must be CPR certified and AED trained; MDS experience preferred and previous EMR experience a plus. Licensure: Current Michigan RN licensure EOE including Disabled and Vets VEVRAA Federal Contractor
