Since its beginnings in 1957 as one of the nation's first non-profit nursing homes, Immanuel Lutheran Communities (ILC) has evolved to become the Flathead Valley's only Life Plan Community. To the local community, they are “The Lutheran Home,” and have a legacy of being the area's senior living leader, known for their quality care and services, forward thinking approach, and genuinely inclusive and welcoming resident and staff culture. ILC is the largest non-hospital healthcare employer in western Montana, and is currently embarking on a building and remodeling project (year 2 of 5), leading to significant expansions across all service lines. Due to a recent retirement of the CFO, Immanuel Lutheran Communities is looking for a strong hands-on and collaborative financial and strategic leader with a passion and dedication for the mission and goals of ILC. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, is a decisive self-starter, and a key leader in the strategic and financial leadership of ILC. The CFO is responsible for planning, oversight, reporting and advising on the financial affairs of the organization to the CEO and Board of Directors, and requires a technologically adept individual with confidence in implementing process and quality improvements, while simultaneously and seamlessly managing and working cross-functionally with each department. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; MBA and/or CPA preferred; and ideally, experience with MatrixCare (formerly known as Advanced Answers On Demand - AOD).
