Our holistic and inter-disciplinary team embraces complementary and expressive therapy (music and massage) while providing services at assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and private homes. As the only non-profit Hospice in the region affiliated with Mary Washington Healthcare, we cater to a diverse population – pediatrics to geriatrics.
In addition to a valid driver’s license and state of Virginia RN licensure (or eligibility), ideal candidates will have:
Experience in pain and symptom management
Previous hospice, home health or geriatrics experience is preferred
Understanding of hospice criteria and commitment to the hospice philosophy of care
Ability to advocate and teach hospice philosophy of care to other clinicians, patients, and families
